A Coach And A Therapist Are Different
We want to clearly explain that our coaches are not therapists, psychiatrists or counselors. A coach can talk to you about anything, however, there are topics and experiences that fall outside the boundaries of a coaching relationship and your coach may recommend you seek a mental health professional’s guidance.
Talking about a personal breakup and the situational depression you’re experiencing is a conversation you can have with a coach and they can provide you with guidance to navigate that situation.
If you are struggling with clinical depression and it has become an ongoing conversation with your Veritas coach, they may recommend you also seek therapy from a licensed mental health professional.
At Veritas Professional Development, we want all of our clients to be as healthy, productive, and successful as possible. If one of our coaches believes you may benefit from seeing a therapist or other mental health professional, they will discuss this with you and provide confidential recommendations to you.
